Who doesn’t enjoy a cupcake? I’m on safe ground saying everybody in my family enjoys them. Over the years I have made quite a variety of cupcakes for all sorts of occasions. Cupcakes in my household are a guaranteed winner.

So just what is a cupcake? Well according to Wikipedia it is a small cake designed to serve one person, that may be baked in a small thin paper or aluminium cup. The Wikipedia definition doesn’t say that one cup cake on its own will not always satisfy one person. I know this to be true because a few people in my family are quick to say one cupcake is never enough!
