Celebration cakes for special occasions - when Thomas met Peppa

The cake request from my grandson Harry was initially for a Peppa Pig themed cake for his third birthday.

I baked and decorated the cake then just a day or two before his birthday he let me know that he would also like Thomas the Tank engine on the cake as well! The idea of a Thomas the Tank engine and Peppa Pig cake certainly required a bit of thinking. As you can see from the pictures below I did indeed manage to decorate a cake where Thomas met Peppa although keen observers may well notice that Peppa and George will never actually fit on the train. Good job it’s just a cake then!
