Snowy Days
When I got my camera in May 2020 I couldn’t wait for the snow so I could take pictures of robins with their beautiful red breast against the white of the snow.
The snow arrived in December so I wrapped up warm and set out with my camera to see what I could find.
No shortage of birds
I arrived at a place where I knew the birds would be, put out some bird seed and the birds soon started to arrive. First, a couple of blue tits arrived quickly followed by a great tit. When they’d had their fill they flew off and a robin took their place. It looked so beautiful against the snow.
Not just about the wildlife
After I’d seen the birds I took a walk along our local stretch of the Peak Forest Canal and the River Tame and took some pictures. It looks quite different in the snow.
Clicking on one of the pictures will take you to a scrollable gallery.
Good pictures – although the bird pix are good I like the pic of the runners in bright clothing along the frozen canal best of all
